Top of my “Summer Must Do” list is taking a drive in the country. Preferably where there is a local produce stand. I like to buy fresh tomatoes that taste nothing like what is sold at the grocery store. One slice of these giant farm-ripened tomatoes makes a delicious sandwich you will never be able to forget. I am talking about Summer Countryside at its best. Think farmland, roadside produce stands, the Amish, and boiled peanut stops along the way and you are “there!” That is the very heart of the South in the summer and the inspiration for this Summer Countryside Photo Gallery. Let this inspire you to take a drive this summer through the countryside. Enjoy!
9Thou visitest the earth, and waterest it:
Psalm 65:9-13 (KJV)
Thou greatly enrichest it
With the river of God, which is full of water:
Thou preparest them corn, when thou hast so provided for it.
10Thou waterest the ridges thereof abundantly: Thou settlest the furrows thereof:
Thou makest it soft with showers: Thou blessest the springing thereof.
11Thou crownest the year with thy goodness;
And thy paths drop fatness.
12They drop upon the pastures of the wilderness:
And the little hills rejoice on every side.
13The pastures are clothed with flocks;
The valleys also are covered over with corn; They shout for joy, they also sing.

Love the pictures! It’s always nice to see God’s beautiful creation.
All of creation sings His glory for sure! 🙂
Thanks to you, I got to enjoy all that summer beauty while enjoying the air-conditioning.😊
LOL! A/C is a wonderful thing to enjoy in the summer. I like it ALMOST as much as sightseeing on road trips. The saving grace is my car has A/C too! 🙂
