Ever Snuck A Late Night Snack And Regretted It?

It’s been a while since I have done a Fur Baby Friday post. I was inspired by a late night snack taken in the cover of darkness in a most stealthy manner. It occurred after everyone had gone to bed, whereas no one could see nor scold him. Salty Dawg decided to sneak off to his favorite snack destination spot – our trash can. He had spied the dainty choice morsel and decided to wait until just the right moment to return undetected and sneakily retrieve a scrumptious late night snack. Hopefully, without regret but that didn’t matter. Now, just to sit and ponder the sneaky tactics needed and to wait…until everyone had gone to bed so it would be unnoticed. Unfortunately, a late night snack often brings much guilt and often regret.

Busted!!

Salty KNEW he was busted when I saw the evidence in the light of day… the licked clean pie tin. This particular irresistible late night snack was the tin that held vague remnants of our delicious coconut cream pie desert from the night before. I am sure it was a prized possession in the wee hours of the morning while everyone slept… until… he got caught red handed. Salty had a motive….an insatiable urge for something sweet and trashy. He had prime opportunity and could be placed at the scene. Salty Dawg left multiple DNA sources at the crime scene through ample shedding of his white fur. The most incriminating piece of evidence was the licked clean pie tin at his place of residence, not to mention his incredibly guilty expression. He KNEW he was BUSTED! In the slammer you go! Case closed!

Conclusion

It always amazes me how very similar we humans are with our fur babies. Have you ever snuck a late night snack and regretted it? Did you feel guilty about it the next morning? How about wanting to do bad deeds in the dark cover of night? I don’t know who mimics who but I do know one thing for sure. Your sin will find you out! One way or another and you WILL be BUSTED! You might want to think twice before indulging in that late night snack! Enough said!
