After seeing the photos of Mocha’s Spa Day, I had to seriously re-consider how I thought about giving my fur babies a bath. Most dogs do not appreciate any form of bathing. Their behavior afterwards of rolling around and rubbing in the grass and dirt proves my point. Maybe I have been going about it all wrong. I am not sure about that though. As a Fur Baby Mom, it is one of my least favorite chores to do. I’d honestly be happy if I could just take my fur babies outside and just use the garden hose on them while they ran around the yard. Unfortunately, that scenario doesn’t work very well. But Mocha’s Spa Day….. hmm, well, that might just change things up a bit as far as bathing my fur babies.
Spa Day Bubble Bath
Mocha was first pampered in a luxuriously, warm bubble bath, complete with floating rubber duckies. After a thorough massaging and a deep cleansing, she exited her bath. She was briskly toweled off and perfumed with an all natural-spray containing only the finest, lavender and bergamot essential oils. A heated bathrobe awaited Mocha, much to her delight. While reclining in her warm bathrobe, two fresh cucumbers were placed on Mocha’s eyes.
Spa Day Cucumber Eye Treatment And Robe
Have you EVER? I haven’t in all my life, seen cucumber slices on a freshly bathed dog. No matter how cute that fur baby is! Just for a footnote, my fur babies LOVE cucumbers. It would be a major challenge for the cucumbers to remain uneaten. There is no way, in a million years, either of my fur babies would think resting cucumbers on their eyes would be anything other than torture. But here little Mocha is relaxing, just out of her bubble bath, WITH cucumbers resting on her eyes. I couldn’t ya’ll!! Mocha’s Spa Day was a total success! Mocha was entirely relaxed with all the spa treatments she had just received.
To Spa Or Not To Spa? That Is The Question~
I know your fur baby would absolutely love a spa day of their own. Mine as well. As for the cucumbers, we might have to pass on that particular spa treatment at my house. I am doing good to even keep all three of my fur babies properly bathed. Believe me, there is NO pressure from me to indulge in a spa day for your fur baby. However, I know that Mocha felt extremely loved, and pampered, during her Spa Day treatments. Mocha’s is a true rags to riches story. Let me know if you would ever consider indulging your fur baby to a Spa Day such as this. I’d love to hear about it sometime. Or better yet, leave a picture of your fur baby enjoying a Spa Day. Give your fur baby a kiss and a hug for me! Happy Fur Baby Friday!
Mocha is loved for sure and it show too. She’s adorable.
She is a pretty pampered pooch! <3
