Spring has always been my most favorite season. God opens Spring with grand arrays of colorful blossoms fit for any royal wedding venue. Each flower bloom has a brief moment of glorious fame as if all of nature applauds their grand entrance. I am sure the blossoms that are showcased here are but a few of the beauties God has created for us to behold. Gone are the dreary cold days of winter. Colorful spring blossoms are here to warmly cheer us forward!
“And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin: and yet I say unto you, that even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.”
Matthew 6:28-29 (KJV)
“O Lord, how manifold are thy works! In wisdom thou made them all: the earth is full of thy riches.”
Psalm 104:24 (KJV)
Bloom Where You Are Planted
I was once told to bloom where God had planted me. I thought that was a profound statement and reflected upon it quite a while. It isn’t always easy to “bloom” when you are overcoming obstacles preventing healthy growth. However, God gives us all the tenacity to grow and bloom in spite of our failures, upbringings, tragedies, and weaknesses. As fragile as a simple little flower can be, God has imparted the strength and internal drive to keep pressing forward. Even in the most uninhabitable places, seeds fall and overcome great obstacles to thrive and bloom where they have been planted. How much more will God grant us the strength we need to overcome our obstacles? Be a late bloomer! Bloom where God has planted you! Blessings!
